An original play written and directed by local playwright Stephen W. Sterling, "Toxic" is set at a campsite somewhere in the Sierra foothills...a locale that doesn't sit well with one of its main characters, a once-wealthy socialite, now a hapless victim of an economy gone hopelessly awry. Sterling's other characters are caught up in the chaos as well, contributing to an atmosphere he calls toxic...thus the play's title. Some might ask: Is there anything funny about characters brought to their knees by pride, greed, and human folly? Stephen quotes Plato who said, "Ignorance is the root of all evil." Past PCT events, including Mid-Life! The Crisis Musical, have sold out early, so get your tickets now!
