The Eureka Flames U-14 Girls captured first place at the recent Hot August Blast-Off Tournament in Roseville. While the girl’s offense was hitting on all cylinders, the team’s defense didn’t give up a single goal over the course of the two-day tournament. The Flames won the championship game in thrilling style when their goalie, Madisyn Donnels, stopped the opposition’s final penalty kick to secure the victory and set-off a huge celebration by players, family members and friends.
