Blacktop Comedy, Roseville’s only acting studio dedicated to the study, practice, and performance of improvisational theater, is pleased to announce OPEN AUDITIONS.

Auditions will be held January 28th and 29th, at 3pm. You need only attend one audition. We are looking for passion! If you love improv, and want to become better, we want you! We can always teach you to be a better improviser, but we can't teach passion! We are looking for both beginning and experienced performers to join our troupes.

Blacktop Comedy brings together dedicated instructors and actors at every level of experience in a supportive and creative environment.

You’ll learn a lot about acting and comedy, while having a lot of fun! Join a team of supportive improv actors! More than just games and jokes; Blacktop is committed to discovering comedy onstage. Nothing is planned, it's improv!

Auditions run approximately forty five minutes. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

A head shot and acting/comedy resume is not required, but are appreciated. If you don’t have these, don’t worry! We’d still love to see you at auditions!

The Blacktop Comedy provides company members with a chance to hone their improv/acting skills, gain performance experience and stage time.
