*Description of the Show: "A comedy for anyone who has ever been on either side of a job interview"
“The Interviews”, written by local playwright, Brian Jagger, is the comedic story of Gary, a middle-manager at a sales company who is wrapping up some final items at the office before leaving on his Hawaiian vacation with his wife. Before he can leave, he is informed by his boss that he must take over the interviews for another manager and hire someone before he can go on his trip. Gary endures a series of hysterical, but less than qualified candidates, throughout the day. Will he find the right one in time, or will his frustrated wife leave without him?

About "Run for Courage" and the Race To End Sex Trafficking
Around the globe, millions of children suffer at the hands of captors and abusers in the $32+ billion “industry” known as sex trafficking. In the United States alone, officials estimate that as many as 300,000 children are trafficked each year. California is the only state that has three cities with a high incidence of child sex trafficking and Sacramento is one of them. One member of the Run For Courage team personally experienced the reality of this heinous crime. Her daughter was taken from a local grocery store and sold for sex by a trafficker for 8 days before being rescued by the FBI.
In 2010, a group of eleven friends joined together to raise awareness and money for the restoration of children forced into sex trafficking. More than half of them are runners so they planned a 5/10K race called Run For Courage, which took place in October, 2010 in Folsom, CA. That first event saw 726 participants, countless volunteers, and many generous sponsors/contributors- and raised $41,000. The proceeds were donated to a local non-profit organization building a safe home for minor victims of sex trafficking: a place where young girls could begin the process of healing from their traumatic experiences.
Run For Courage, Inc. recently obtained 501 (c) (3) status and it attacks the crime of sex trafficking in several ways. With large and small-scale events (like this one with Integral Theatre Company, individual participants and corporate sponsors. RFC raises money for organizations that raise the level of global awareness; and those which provide direct services to help restore victims. We choose programs that most efficiently utilize their resources on services for victims and/or efforts to raise awareness. Proceeds from our events are distributed to multiple organizations, programs, residential facilities, or homes that have been carefully evaluated and monitored.
